Following the retaliation vows for the killing of its top military leader, General Soleimani last Friday, Iran has launched 15 missiles to the US military targets in Iraq Tuesday night.
Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility of recent US attacked military based in Iraq which covered Ain al-Asad airbase west of Baghdad and Erbil in northern Iraq.
A US Central Command Spokesperson told Vox News that Iran launched fifteen missiles, ten struck al-asad airbase west of Baghdad, one struck Erbil in northern Iraq and four failed. US was able to track the launches with radar, giving personnel time to take cover. A White House official told Vox news that there were no American casualties from the attack.
Meanwhile, IRGC official told Mehr News Agency that at least 80 American troops were killed and almost 200 others were injured in the attack.

The statement reads further that, “Ain al-Asad airbase was a strategic site for the US which was used to support drones,” the source added.
As many as 20 critical points of the base were hit by 15 missiles and a significant number of UAVs and helicopters were destroyed, according to the source.
“Despite the fact that Americans had been on high alert, their air defense was unable to respond,” the source noted.
“As many as 104 critical points in the US’ positions in the region have been identified, which would be destroyed upon the US’ first mistake,” the source added
Iran also vowed to attack Dubai in United Arab Emirate and Haifa in Israel if US strike back on this regard.
Additionally, US Federal Aviation Administration has barred US carrier to fly below 26,000 feet over Iraq and from flying over an area of Iranian airspace above the golf and golf of Oman. Alarabiya.net reports.
This ban didn't affect foreign airline though they are also in cautious of their movement in the region.
US President Donald Trump has tweeted, "All is well" that he is going to release his statement this morning; boasting that US has most equipped military in the whole world and has its military aids everywhere in the world.
Iranian Islamic leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamieni warned US troop to leave the territory saying the strike was just 'a slap in the face of US'.
