The Ijaw youth must move forward (IYMMF) Egbema chapter has called on leaders of Warri north local government area especially, Hon. Michael Diden (Ejele) chairman Desopadec and Hon. Godwin Ebosa immediate past chairman Desopadec to consider picking an ijaw man as the next local government council chairman.
The youths further commended the duo for the peaceful coexistence between both ethnic groups and thank them for showing love to Ijaw youths by employing them in their companies.
The youths also Appeal to the duo to consider an Ijaw chairmanship position in the council.
The group in an open letter Which a copy was sent to Creek news states as follows:
“AN OPEN LETTER TO HON. MICHAEL DIDEN (AKA EJELE) CHAIRMAN; DESOPADEC,

HON. GODWIN EBOSA FORMER DESOPADEC CHAIRMAN,
THE IJAW YOUTH MUST MOVE FORWARD Egbema chapter Warri North want to commend Hon. Michael Diden (Aka Ejele) Chairman Desopadec, and Hon. Godwin Ebosa, Former chairman Desopadec for all that you have done in Warri North local government.
Hon Michael Diden, we know that you and the Ijaw / Itsekiri peace body (Senr. Apstl. Otegha Ebiwoni; chairman and others) brought lasting peace to the local government wherein you made Ijaw as the first vice chairman of the local government since its creation. Likewise, Hon Godwin Ebosa followed same peace principles, brought human capital development and projects to the local government.
The IYMMF commend you a lot for the lasting peace and development in the council. Due to the peace and concern for the Ijaws, which made the Ijaws to have vice chairman and present local government secretary. All these were possible because of your humanitarian feelings and coexistence.
Honourables, We know the legacies you laid even in your companies where you employ both the Ijaws and the Itsekiris. Therefore, we are appealing to you concerning the chairmanship issue because we have seen that you are not bias and have done almost everything for the Ijaws just the chairmanship position left. This shows that that you care about the Ijaws and we know that you are not truly comfortable with these 29 years. So we appeal to you to negotiate and dialogue with all other leaders to facilitate the process in Warri North to give the Ijaws the long awaited chairmanship position.
Conclusively, we know that Hon. Micheal Diden, Hon. Godwin Ebosa and other notable leaders are capable and can facilitate the process.
