 An Ijaw right group under the ageis of Ijaw Political WatchDog has blast an Itsekiri group known as the Movement For the Protection Iwere Homeland, Development and History (MPIHDH) on their claim of Ogbe-Ijoh market and attack on Comrade Austin Ozobo.

ITSEKIRI GROUP LIED OVER OWNERSHIP OF OGBE-JOH MARKET, ATTACK ON IPDI, OZOBO FRIVOLOUS, DORE NUMA WAS A STRANGER IN WARRI, OKOWA SHOULD CALLS ITSEKIRI TO ORDER TO AVOID FURTHER CRISIS IN WARRI

It is worthy of note that the faceless Itsekiri group,the Movement for the Protection of Iwere Homeland, Development and History (MPIHDH lied over the ownership of Ogbe-Ijoh market, the facebook authors and their post are frivolous and misguided as the authors refused to attached their identity on it.

We wouldn't have responded as the  authors remained faceless but the record has to be straighten as the lies published were meant to mislead the gullible public.

 

We as well seriously frown at the  personal attacks on Comrade Ozobo Austin and the reputable Ijaw People's Development Initiative, IPDI. The Itsekiri group misfired and the public should ignore falsehoods canvassed by the group. 

It is on record that Ogbe-Ijoh market is owns by Ijaw people and there is no point appointing an Itsekiri man as Market master in the market, this is a clear sign of conspiracy and a gang up against Ijaws in Warri and this is capable of causing another tribal war among the Ijaws and Itsekiri in Warri.

The Dore Numa referred by the faceless group was imported from Benin river to Warri in a mysterious condition and doesn't owns any land in Warri. There has not any time Ogbe-Ijoh is referred as Dore Numa market. Itsekiris are strangers in Warri, their founding father one Ginuwa only came to Warri after long existence of Warri. The Ijaw of Warri, Burutu, Forcados, Ogulagha have started doing business with the Portuguese before the late migration of the Ginuwa from Benin in 1473. 

The Itsekiris and Michael Tidi, the Warri South LGA chairman should stop fermenting trouble in Warri. 

By history, Izons were the first settlers in Warri, the name Warri derives from 'wari' in Izon language which means House. These are facts in the public if those mischievous Itsekiri group care to know.

Micheal Tidi if he is a bereft of ideas about Ogbe-Ijoh Market and the long existence of Izon in Warri he should ask former governor of Delta State ,H.E.Chief James Onanefe Ibori whose regime faces alot of crisis may tell him more about Warri.

It is our appeal to the chairman of Warri South LGA to do the needful and reverse the appointment of Itsekiri man as a market master in Ogbe-Ijoh market before it gets out of hand.

H.E senator Ifeanyi Okowa should not pay deaf ear to the drum of war beaten by the Itsekiri and he should act now before it would be too late.
