Tinubu, Oshiomhole, Others To Revive Alliance For Democracy AD In Preparation For 2023

By CKN

                     Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Tinubu and Oshiomhole faction of APC National Working Committee, NWC, are considering two options in wrestling power from the grips of their traducers.

As primary resolution reached out by the faction, President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have acted in error considering that the constitution of the All Progressive Congress does not make provision for any Care Taker Committee such as the one he just instituted, hence Tinubu and others are heading to court to seek redress.

As plan “B” in Tinubu front, the option to dialogue with the long existing Alliance for Democracy – AD is a fall back position they can’t shy away from, if other plans fail.

Alliance for Democracy AD is long existing party founded since 1999 with structure not standing anymore in other regions of the country except in the Southwest

Source close to Oshiomhole revealed to 9News Nigeria under cover that negotiations with AD stakeholders has been ignited few days ago when they started seen signs of their defeat.

Why AD and why can’t the faction create a fresh party, 9News Nigeria asked. The loosing APC member said it’s easy to revive and strengthen AD in the Southwest alone and get it go like wildfire all over the country in no time. We can’t create a new party at this time and get people acquainted to it before 2023. It can be done, but reviving an existing one will be cheaper and better, he said.
